It was a challenge to shoot during the pandemic: Navjit Buttar

Navjit Buttar, who has associated with singers like Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Mishra, , Jassie Gill, Diljit Dosanjh,  in his previous projects, shares, "Shooting in Varanasi was one of the joyful experiences of my life. We canned the beautiful ghats and havelis for the music video. The holy city has true vibes of India and I have tried to bring a bit of what I saw of the real Benaras on screen in that limited time. Talking about the actors, they both have given a splendid performance.”

His upcoming video was filmed before the lockdown at the magnificent locations of Varanasi

The music video director, who has collaborated with singer and music composer Vishal Mishra for the song Tu Bhi Sataya Jayga, starring Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin, says, “It was a challenge to shoot during the pandemic as the safety of everyone was a major concern. I’m working on 5-6 songs which I will be shooting post lockdown. The concepts have been locked and I am hoping to deliver them when things ease out a bit. I am also trying to utilise my time watching some magnificent documentaries. My team and I are missing being on set, hopefully soon we will be back on the sets."

Navjit who has also directed the song Tum Bewafa Ho staring Arjun Bijlani and Nia Sharma and sung by Payal Dev, says, “I am happy with my journey so far but at the same time I think I’ve not given my best work, the best is yet to come."
